Kurmuk Commissioner Mamoun Hamad El Amin requested UNMIS Acting Head of Office Sevetlana Pencheva and Acting Sector Commander Lt. Col. Irshad Ali Khan for help in moving the sorghum. UNMIS' Pakistani contingent used five trucks to deliver 200 (90-kilogramme each) bags of sorghum to Dindiro, where the state arranged for its further delivery to Kurmuk.
