Bestowing a warm welcome to visitors at Bor way station, store manager Achiek David Arou said he had given food to 271 returnees on the first barge from Juba and 350 on the second.
He said returnees, who had come from Lologo Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in Juba, stayed at the station for 72 hours before traveling to their various payams (districts). "On arrival, IDPs receive food for 15 days to help them with their journeys, and then they receive … food for three months and then another three months...," Mr. Arou said.
